Wet Dust Collectors are used for very specific dust collection. There are certain materials that are rated  as a highly combustible nature. In applications such as cutting, grinding, sanding and deburring where sparks can occur with particular metals, wet collectors are the safest way address these applications.

Aluminum, Magnesium and Titanium are a few of the metallic dust that are best collected with wet dust collectors. The wet collectors provided by Spartan meet the National Fire Code Standard, presented by the NFPA.
